Stroke also known as brain attack is one of the top most cause of death and number one cause of disability in India. Kerala is having highest number of strokes in the country. Cochin Stroke Foundation was launched under aegis of Medical Trust Hospital to create awareness about this deadly and disabling illness. The Stroke Centre is dedicated to the care of Stroke patients. The team includes Neurologists, Neuro Radiologists, Neuro Surgeons, Neuro Anaesthetists, Critical Care Specialists, Neurophysiotherapists, dedicated and trained nurses.

Clinical evidence says Stroke patient treated in dedicated Stroke Centre has better outcome than treated elsewhere. We believe that with proper awareness and education about Stroke, we can prevent it, treat it with latest technologies and help the Stroke victim to live an independent life.
